Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? We’ve got answers! Whether you're wondering what to pack, how to get here, or what to expect from our yoga, Pilates, and wine experiences, our FAQ page covers everything you need to know. If you don’t see your question listed, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

How do I get to Lagos?
The closest airport to Lagos is Faro. We can help you organise a private transfer from the airport or you can also take an airport bus directly to Lagos bus station and then a quick taxi to get to the venue.
What makes your retreat different?
We truly feel there is something out there for everyone, and we specifically designed our retreat based on our own passions and interests, knowing that we're creating something unique: a blend of wellness through yoga and Pilates and the Portuguese wine which bring people together and help to create a community.
Does it matter if I’ve never tried yoga or Pilates?
Not at all! We welcome beginners and experienced movers alike. All classes are suitable for all levels, and modifications and progressions will be offered when appropriate. Please make sure we know about any injuries or health conditions prior to the class, this way we can guide you in the best way possible.
Why are there separate prices for the retreat and the accommodation?
We had many enquiries after our last retreat from people who live in the area, and wanted to provide an option to join in with all the fun while staying elsewhere.
Is there a limit to the number of people who can attend this retreat?
Yes, we have capped the limit at 12, as it’s important to us that everyone in the group feels valued and supported. We wanted to create a personal experience.
Is transport included?
All transport during the retreat to organised activities is included in the retreat price, but transport to Portugal, and to and from the retreat itself isn’t included. We can provide details of trusted airport shuttle services, if you need.
What's the weather like in November?
November is one of our favourite months here - there is usually still plenty of sunshine and warm days but the evenings get a bit colder so please bring a jumper.
What have others said about your retreat and where can I find reviews?
We have had wonderful feedback from previous guests, and you can find some of our verified reviews on Google.
Can couples attend?
Yes! We offer single and double occupancy rooms, and welcome couples, small groups, friends and solo travellers!
If I want to stray from the itinerary, can I?
You absolutely can! Let us know if there’s a specific activity you have in mind and we will do our best to help organise it for you.
Do I have to be a wine drinker to enjoy this retreat?
Actually, surprisingly, no! We love sharing our passion for Portuguese wines with our guests, but if wine isn’t your thing, don’t worry…a beautiful vineyard is beautiful and a wine specialist is interesting whether you are sipping wine or water!
I have injuries, are Pilates and Yoga classes safe for me?
We are both certified instructors, familiar with navigating injuries and restrictions. We will modify, change or individually adjust exercises to make sure everyone is catered for and practicing in a safe way.
Will there be free time to explore?
Yes, though we do have a carefully curated itinerary in store for you, we also schedule time for you in case you’d like to go on a mini adventure of your own, or even relax with a book on the terrace.
Is food included?
As well as a beach picnic and lunch at our chosen vineyard, we provide breakfast everyday, and three evening meals in the hotel's restaurant. We have learnt from previous guests that the culinary delights of Lagos are very tempting, and therefore assigned one evening all to yourselves!
